weighing in at 8 lbs 7 oz and measuring 21 inches long, Eli Joseph Cullum was born at 1:52 pm on Monday April 30. He looks exactly like his big brother Isaac did at birth. He is a a good liitle guy chilling amist all the noise and happenings at home. He is slowly becoming a daytime person.
Big sister Prema is really struggling to adjust to Eli's arrival. At the hospital she loved him, but since he's been home she has changed her mind. She is willing to go to any lengths to get some attention, whether it be positive or negative. She has refused every meal since Saturday afternoon and no longer is signing much. We are seeing a lot more old habits from India rather than American ways that were natural to her.
Big brother Isaac is doing okay with Eli. He really likes Eli, always wanting to hold him and touch him. But he too is struggling with the limited attention. Tantrums are exhibited often and testing the waters with any limits that are set.
Thankfully we have Kyle's mom and dad here to help!!!
